“钱学森国际杰出科学家系列讲座”由中国自动化学会于2012年发起并主办,旨传承、发扬钱学森先生的伟大科学精神和学术思想方法，践行钱学森创新教育思想，全面提升国内科技人员的学术水平和综合素质、促进国际国内科技交流、营造学会学术交流氛围。
该讲座聘请国内外信息、自动化与智能科学以及系统工程领域的知名学者、教授、学科带头人等开设讲坛，就当前领域内的研究热点进行广泛的探索和交流，目前已经深入各高校、科研院所、企事业单位，成为学会会员熟悉领域前沿、开拓科研思路、分享科研成果、活跃科研气氛的重要平台。
